Starting out playing percussion with DJ’s, Newcastle chic SHALYN GRAY, then decided to jump on the turntables and give mixing a go.. After wow-ing local crowds at clubs in Newcastle, she took a plunge & entered in DJ comps for New Mardi Gras & popular girls night MOIST. Success in these comps saw SHALYNS’ crowd wow-ing sets expand from the Newcastle scene, to the big bad city streets of Sydney! Having played at Trademark, Supper Club, Mars Lounge, Oxford Art Factory & The Burdekin and with residencies at The Gateway Hotel Newcastle, Arq Sydney, Revibed @ Gilligan’s, Flinders Hotel & Polo Lounge, SHALYN is fast becoming one of Sydney’s most sort after DJ’s!

Her point of difference is that she plays percussion/bongos/drums during her sets. Her percussion accompaniment and oh-so clever mixes light a flame inside & bring a passion to the club live music scene that has been missing for a long time!

KUDOS

Kudos has quickly established a name for himself as a young exciting and fresh new talent. From playing at countless house parties and outdoor events he has quickly progressed onto dropping his style on local dance floors including King Street Hotel, The Gateway Hotel, The Grand and more recently Flinders Hotel in Darlinghurst Sydney.

His mixture of electro progressive funky tech and figit house sets with an all night party attitude are energetic, fun, always fresh and guaranteed to get any crowd moving. 

With his own production work now in progress and regular spots between Sydney and Newcastle keep and ear and eye open for this up and coming Dj.
